Former Houston Texans lineman David Quessenberry scored a touchdown as he continues to add to his remarkable story in the NFL.

Sometimes it is OK to cheer when a rival team has a player who does something great, and for Houston Texans fans Week 2 is that day.

Former Texans offensive lineman David Quessenberry is a current member of the Tennessee Titans, and in their Week 2 game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts he did something all linemen dream of … caught a touchdown pass, as Marcus Mariota found him in a goal line situation in the second quarter.

Quessenberry — who played two games for the Texans in 2017 — is a former sixth-round pick by the Texans, and more than that, he’s a cancer survivor. He was, and continues to be, a great inspiration to not only Texans fans, but all football fans for all that he’s gone through to both stay in the NFL and to beat non-Hodgkins T Lymphoblastic lymphoma.

As for the touchdown catch on Sunday, here is the video as provided by the official NFL.com Twitter account:

That is such a great play to see, and if you remember, his head coach Mike Vrabel — also a former defensive coordinator of the Texans — was on New England Patriots teams that did similar plays, as the Texans did too with J.J. Watt.

Next. Texans: Nobody is saying it wasn’t a good idea. dark

Congratulations to Quessenberry on the touchdown catch and for continuing to achieve his goals in the NFL.
