Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: 5 Questions with Black and Teal
Week 2 features the Houston Texans hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars with there being much on the line against in this AFC South battle.
The Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars face each other in Week 2, and the Toro Times recently spoke with David Levin of Black and Teal, a FanSided site about the Jacksonville Jaguars. For the Texans and Jaguars this weekend, it is important for both sides to avoid going 0-2 to start the season.
A loss wouldn’t end the season of either team by any means, because looking back at last season, the Texans were 0-3 before they gained their first win of the season.
The Jaguars enter Week 2 of the 2019 season with a lot on their plate because starting quarterback Nick Foles will be out for a majority of the season with a broken clavicle suffered in the first quarter in the season opener vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.
Houston played this past week on Monday Night Football, and their biggest obstacles in that season-opening loss to the New Orleans Saints were having lackluster play from the offensive line in pass blocking and the defensive line having very little pass rush.
The Jaguars have issues with Foles out as starting quarterback and having to start a rookie in Gardner Minshew, when this was a season they wanted to have him sit and watch, but now he has to learn on the go.
As game day nears, the Toro Times spoke with David Levin of FanSided site Black and Teal to speak about the upcoming game between the Texans and Jaguars.
