1. DeAndre Hopkins

Though quarterback is the most important position on any NFL roster, teams also need playmakers at wide receiver. Even though we already spoke about Will Fuller, the top player on the Texans who brings the most fireworks so to speak is DeAndre Hopkins.

Hopkins is not only the best wide receiver for the Texans, and he’s not only the best wide receiver in the AFC, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a better wide receiver in the entire NFL going into the 2019 season.

Having Hopkins makes the Texans better than most any team in the league in all-around talent at wide receiver. Hopkins is one catch away each game from giving the Texans the biggest display of fireworks seen because his skill level is so much higher than the average receiver in the league.

Saying all the great things about Hopkins isn’t about him being on the Texans, but more of just how great of a player he is. Having Hopkins on the Texans’ roster makes for him being the player most capable of putting on a show for the fans of the franchise.

In four of the past five seasons, Hopkins has caught for over 1,200 yards in each of them (in 2016 he had 954 yards). If that trend continues, and with the fireworks he brings to the team, it can be said Hopkins is the grand finale of the offense as his explosiveness can change the way the game is played on nearly any catch he makes.
