4. Kahale Warring could earn a starting spot in Week 1

Last season, the tight ends of the Houston Texans were, shall we say, unsuccessful overall as a unit with only one of the three tight ends used in games last season gaining touchdowns, and that was Jordan Thomas with four touchdown receptions.

Warring was drafted in the third round, and with pending legal issues of Ryan Griffin, and Thomas and Jordan Akins going to be just second-year players, Warring has potential success sitting right in front of him if he can prove to the coaches that he was worth the third-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Being he’s 6-5, 252 pounds, Warring has a lot of potential in front of him, and if he can gel with the Texans offense and become a part of a duo with one of the other tight ends on the roster, he could help the offense become a very dangerous combination for Deshaun Watson to work with.

Another aspect of Warring’s game that benefits him joining the Texans is he has the ability to make much-needed blocks the Texans didn’t have at times in 2018, and his athleticism should work very well with the rest of the Texans’ offensive standouts.
