Round 6 (197th overall): Will Harris, S, Boston College

Here is where the Houston Texans can add a safety with potential to their roster, and not only that, maybe find a late-round gem, too.

Last season, Harris with Boston College played in 12 games, where he totaled 75 total tackles (43 solo) with one tackle for loss. He also had one interception and two fumble recoveries.

For his four seasons at the collegiate level, Harris totaled 139 solo tackles and overall had 225 tackles too. He also had 7.5 tackles for loss and one career sack. Harris also had five career interceptions and seven passes defensed, along with six fumble recoveries.

Terrance Biggs of FullPressCoverage.com wrote the following on Harris and how he plays safety:

"“If you had to boil down Harris and his approach to coverage, the word instinctive comes to mind.”"

This is why it could be Harris is a hidden gem in this draft, especially if he’s available in the sixth round. The Texans can never have too much help in their secondary this season, and if adding a player like Harris can occur in the sixth round, that would be a strong value pick at 197th overall.
