Round 2 (55th overall): Yodny Cajuste, OT, West Virginia

This is the selection where the Houston Texans can try to start adding to their offensive line though the 2019 NFL Draft if they decide to take a “best player available” in the first round. It is no secret the Texans need better play from their offensive tackles, and from the looks of things, the top-tier graded tackles could be selected before Houston picks 23rd overall, but there are some nice players available at 55th overall as well.

One of those players is West Virginia offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste, who could become a versatile player and not only play tackle, but guard too if needed.

Lance Zierlein of NFL.com wrote in his draft profile of Cajuste the following about the positive abilities the West Virginia tackle possesses:

"“Plays beyond a made block and finds additional work … Adequate lightness in feet for left tackle spot.”"

The Texans need to do something and bring in some competition at left tackle because last season just did not work for anyone on the team. Cajuste is 6-5, 312 pounds and has great strength as he did the bench press (225 pounds) for 32 reps at the combine. The Texans, if they wait for Round 2 to select a offensive tackle, could do pretty well with Cajuste and still be able to draft for need in the process at 55th overall.
