Houston Texans are interested in free agent running back Le’Veon Bell.

Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that the Houston Texans are one of the suitors that are interested in pursuing Pro Bowl running back Le’Veon Bell in free agency. Bell is one of the high end running backs and one of the better players in the free agency market so his decision on picking a team could come in as soon as today. A three times Pro Bowl selection since joining the league in 2013 and has been an All-Pro twice.

Anderson reported New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers as other teams that are negotiating to land Bell.

Once Bell signs, the dominoes will begin to fall in the running back market. He is expected to at least come close to resetting the market for running backs after he sat out the 2018 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers for financial reasons.

Through 62 games, Bell has rushed for 5,336 yards, 35 touchdowns, and averaging a solid 4.3 yards per carry. As a receiver, he has 312 receptions for 2,660 receiving yards and seven touchdown receptions.

Despite the concern of not playing the 2018 season, Bell has been one of the most dominant runners in the NFL and was a game changer for the Steelers in the running game. He was able to impact the passing game as well as being a viable receiver out of the backfield, and being a pass protector capable of picking up a blitz.
