2. Daryl Williams, RT, Carolina Panthers

2018 stats: 1 game played.

In terms of talent, Daryl Williams is often perceived as the best tackle in the 2019 free agency class. It just so happens to be that the Houston Texans will also be making the tackle position a priority during the offseason, making a potential marriage between Williams and the Texans just that much more perfect.

However, like all free agents, Williams is not a sure thing. He missed nearly all of the 2018 season with a knee injury, and his best year (2017) was the only one in which he played a full season. Remember, he’s only 26 years old, meaning he potentially has his prime in front of him.

If the 6-5, 335-pound behemoth can get close to replicating his outstanding 2017 season in which he finished the year as Pro Football Focus‘ third-best right tackle, and in the Top 10 in both pass and run blocking. Williams  would be a major upgrade to the Texans line, making him an obvious dream fit at right tackle — a position in which the Texans don’t seem to have an established plan at.

Also don’t forget the Texans had one of the most unreliable offensive lines in all of the NFL last season, so don’t be surprised if the Texans do show interest in Williams this offseason.
