Travis Fulgham, WR, Old Dominion

2018 stats: 12 games, 63 receptions, 1083 yards, 9 touchdowns

Travis Fulgham is big (6-3, 215 pounds) and fast, which will means he will surely turn heads at the combine when it comes to measurables, 40-yard-dash and vertical.

As you can see in the video above, he knows how to use his strengths to his advantage, which played a major part in his nine consecutive touchdowns to end the year at Old Dominion — stats that earned him both a Senior Bowl and NFL Combine invite.

While evaluating him as a possible candidate for the Houston Texans, I noticed that Fulgham moves rather fluidly despite having such a large frame. Although his foot quickness could be sped up, he tends to use his loose hips, and long strides to get himself open on corner routes. On deep routes, he has a polished ability in reading cornerback leverage.

In terms of catching, Fulgham does have a habit of some concentration drops, but for the most part, he has shown good body control, tracking and placement.

But the thing scouts (and I) rave about the most with Fulgham is his blocking down the field. He doesn’t just utilize his complete frame, he hunts for blocks down the field and finishes them with tenacity.

That blocking might be just what gets Fulgham into the NFL. He might not be the most complete receiver or a lethal one with the ball in his hands, but with plus size, speed and blocking, he will find himself making an impact in the NFL in some way during the 2019 season.
