Cole Beasley, WR, Dallas Cowboys

2018 stats: 16 games played (4 starts), 65 receptions, 672 yards, 3 touchdowns

Cole Beasley has slowly turned himself into a Texas football legend over the years. Not only is he a Houston native, but Beasley also played college football at SMU, SInce then, Beasley has established himself as the starting slot receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, but that doesn’t mean his next chapter should be back in Houston with his hometown team.

Beasley will soon be 30 years old and wouldn’t have a clear role with the Texans. Although he is an excellent horizontal route runner, the Texans already have that and more in sophomore slot receiver KeKe Coutee.

Finding a role for Beasley on the Texans isn’t something worth pursuing due to the possibility that he could very well look to cash out to the highest bidder after a solid previous four seasons with the Cowboys and who could blame him?

Simply put, adding Beasley to an already crowded receiver group isn’t worth considering their other holes to fill, especially on the offensive line and cornerback.
