4. Will the Texans hire an offensive coordinator?

Like it or not, at least for the 2019 season, Bill O’Brien is returning as the head coach of the Houston Texans as the team has made the playoffs more than they’ve not made it under O’Brien as the head coach. That said, changes do need to be made by the Texans — at least in my opinion — by hiring an offensive coordinator, and not only that, but turning over the play calling to the possible new coach.

Right now, O’Brien is the offensive coordinator as well as the head coach and play caller on offense. To bring a new spark a look to the offense of the Texans, a fresh face and new ideas would made for a better experience in 2019.

Remember, even though the Texans won 11 games this past regular season, they did start the season off slow with three straight losses. Moreover, they did just win the AFC South and struggled at the end of the season and in the playoff Wild Card game.

What do you think: should the Texans be looking at other assistant coaches on the offensive side of the football to possibly promote to calling plays for the Texans next season? It is an idea that many have, but it is still a mystery if the franchise would actually move into that direction moving forward.
