The Houston Texans have a few questions and issues that need to be solved this offseason, but how will they get to those final solutions is the mystery.

It is no secret that the Houston Texans are a good football team, but to be more than division champions they need to become a great football team, which they just quite aren’t there yet. Though the Texans went 11-5 in the regular season and were the AFC South champions, the playoffs were a huge letdown and brought the season to a lackluster close.

As the Super Bowl is a week or so away with the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams the only two teams left standing, one must know, wonder and realize the Texans need questions answered and solved to become one of the final two teams standing next season.

The path to the Super Bowl won’t be any easier next season for the Texans as they will face three of the final four teams left this season with the Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs all on the schedule in 2019. Plus, there are the two games with the Indianapolis Colts, who defeated the Texans in the playoffs in the Wild Card round, and the rest of the AFC South won’t be easy matchups, either.

What are some of those questions? Take the offensive line and all the issues they had at tackle and the interior line as well. There is also the lack of depth at cornerback, and don’t forget the Texans should be looking at wide receiver as injuries mounted up against them last season, too.

There are issues where some believe the Texans need more from their tight ends on the roster, and what about the coaching staff? Should the Texans hire an offensive coordinator and take away that responsibility from head coach Bill O’Brien so he can focus elsewhere on the roster?

With the Texans, there are many questions, and here are five questions that need to be answered this offseason.
