Houston Texans’ upcoming free agents

The Houston Texans will have a lot of players hitting free agency in 2019.
Houston Texans front office and general manager Brian Gaine will have a lot of personnel decisions as free agency looms in March. The Texans had one of their most successful regular seasons to date finishing 11-5, clinching the AFC South division, and qualifying for the playoffs. They were unable to replicate the success in the postseason against the Indianapolis Colts, but the Texans have a promising core moving forward having the majority signed through next season.
Gaine will have the franchise tag and approximately $67,986,499 in cap space according to Spotrac. Texans will have 20 free agents that will have need new contracts if they are to return to Houston in 2019.
