5. Andrew Luck can be held to 200 yards passing

It is possible that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck can be held to 200 or less yards passing on Saturday, as it happened four times during the regular season, including as recently as Week 15 when the Dallas Cowboys did so. Granted, that game the Colts used their rushing game to defeat the Cowboys, and the Indianapolis defense played a heck of a game that day as well.

For the Texans to hold Luck to 200 or less passing yards, they’ll need to also slow down the rushing game of the Colts. For Houston to win this game they can’t allow Luck take advantage of them in the passing game. Basically the Texans are going to need to have their best game yet to stop Luck and the Colts offense.

How can this happen? First the Colts need to keep T.Y. Hilton from making a big play or more on them. If Hilton can be stopped that is a start to this entire process. Houston also needs to not let Eric Ebron take over the game from the tight end spot as well.

If those two things happen, that means Luck can be kept at around 200 yards through the air, and that also means either the Texans defensive line is really putting pressure on the Colts offensive line.

The Colts will do all they can to beat the Texans with their passing game as Luck had yardage totals of 464 and 399 in the first two meetings, so this prediction will be very tough to achieve. If Houston is able do so, they will be moving onto the divisional round.
