The Houston Texans will be without two players who would be really helpful in Week 17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Week 17 inactives were released for the Houston Texans and three names jumped off the page for those inactive players. That list includes wide receiver Keke Coutee, cornerback Johnathan Joseph and running back D’Onta Foreman.

The other inactives for the Texans include: inside linebacker Josh Keyes, offensive tackle Roderick Johnson, nose tackle Brandon Dunn and defensive end Joel Heath.

Coutee was an expected inactive for this week as he continues to battle hamstring issues. If he can ever fully recover from his hamstring injury and get back on the field the Texans’ offense will be much stronger.

Maybe Coutee will be available for the AFC Playoffs next weekend, as the Texans wait to see who, when and where they play next weekend.

In his six games played this season, Coutee has 28 receptions for 287 yards and one touchdown. He brings more than just numbers to the roster, because when he’s on the field the defense has to let off a little pressure they put on the like of DeAndre Hopkins and now DeAndre Carter.

Losing Joseph is tough for the defensive backfield as is veteran presence is needed each and every week. Joseph has two interceptions this season and one returned for a touchdown.

Another loss that might not jump off the page is not having Dunn in the middle of the defensive line against the Jaguars. Dunn has four tackles for a loss this season.

Houston could really use the players injured on the roster this weekend, but they are still more than capable to gain the victory over the Jaguars and win the AFC South championship in Week 17.
