2. J.J. Watt

For the aforementioned Kareem Jackson to have a great game in the defensive backfield, help could come from defensive end J.J. Watt and his pass rush against the Colts and Andrew Luck. If the Texans want to disrupt the Colts in Week 14, watch Watt against Colts offensive lineman Anthony Castonzo, a first-round pick back in 2011 at left tackle.

That will be something to watch for sure, because if Watt is able to win that battle, or at least put pressure on Castonzo, the Texans will have one of two things happen. The first is Watt will become close friends with Luck, adding to his 11.5 sacks he’s obtained through the first 13 weeks of the NFL season.

In four of the past five games, Watt has recorded at least one sack, but the previous game against the Cleveland Browns last Sunday Watt didn’t gain a sack and had just one tackle in that game too.

The previous meeting in Week 4 against the Colts, Watt had four tackles and two sacks against the Colts. Watching Watt this week will be interesting to see if he can not only bounce back from low stats against the Browns, but whether he can have a repeat two-sack performance like he had earlier in the season when the Texans won in overtime in Indianapolis.

If that happens, the Texans can gain a valuable season sweep of the Colts.
