3. Kareem Jackson

Here is a cornerback who will have a tough day on Sunday, but Kareem Jackson’s tough day can be a productive one as well. Jackson will most likely be a shadow for T.Y. Hilton of the Indianapolis Colts as Hilton is by far one of the Top 10 wide receivers in the entire NFL. Jackson is having a solid season too, as Pro Football Focus has Jackson as the sixth-best graded cornerback in the NFL this season.

PFF has Jackson graded at 85.8 overall, including an 81.3 coverage grade entering Week 14. The matchup with Hilton is must-watch alone, but in watching Jackson in this game, the Texans have a cornerback who will need to have one of his very best games of the season, because Hilton enters the Week 14 game with 53 receptions for 787 yards and six touchdowns. Hilton averages 14.8 yards per game this season. In his previous game against the Colts back in Week 4, Hilton had four receptions for 115 yards and no touchdowns.

Jackson plays an important role on the Texans defense on a weekly basis, but there is a feeling that he’ll need to be at the top of his game to slow down Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and Hilton. If that happens, the Texans will win the game.
