The Houston Texans will be looking to have players on their roster step up and become difference makers the rest of the regular season.

The Houston Texans play on Monday Night Football in Week 12 of the NFL season, and going into their primetime game against the Tennessee Titans, there is a lot on the line in terms of potential playoff positioning and the division championship as well.

Houston enters the Monday Night Football game at 7-3 overall with all seven of the wins coming in the past seven games played. The Titans are 5-5 in third place, while the Indianapolis Colts are right there at 6-5 following their game on Sunday afternoon in a win against the Miami Dolphins by a 27-24 score. A win by Tennessee puts them in a second-place tie with the Colts.

Now for the Texans, they may have not defeated some of the stronger teams in the league this season, but that’s fine because they can only play the teams on their schedule, and in all but three of those games they’ve come out the winner.

Getting to that point has seen the Texans use the talents of quarterback Deshaun Watson and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, along with defensive end J.J. Watt having a season of redemption following two consecutive seasons full of injuries and missed games.

Those players are special, and we all know that, so they will not be mentioned as the upcoming “3 difference-makers” because it is obvious they will be needed to produce at a great level going forward. As for others on the team, who are some surprise players or players who are a tad bit off the radar who will be difference makers from now until the end of the season?

Listed below are 3 players who could become difference makers down the final stretch of the regular season with the Texans battling the next few weeks to stay in first place and to gain the division championship and a spot in the AFC Playoffs.
