The Houston Texans have several players that deserve to be discussed as some of the best players at their respective position this season.

The 2019 Pro Bowl will be played in Orlando, Florida and despite the fact that the Houston Texans could still be in the playoffs while the game takes place, several players on both sides of the ball are playing at a high level. Since starting 0-3, the team has turned it around and responded with seven straight wins.

The Texans offense aren’t scoring like they were last year, but they are in control of the pace and tempo throughout their win streak. The offense is ranked 16th with an average of 23.9 points scored per game, and they are ranked 13th overall with an average of 364.2 total yards per game. Those are impressive stats given the preconceptions that the offensive line wouldn’t allow Deshaun Watson the time to stand in the pocket and deliver accurate throws to his receivers.

The Texans defense, on the other hand, have also exceeded expectations with all the injuries that have plagued the team. They rank sixth with an average of 20.5 points they have allowed per game, and they are ranked seventh overall allowing a total of 330.5 yards per game. They’re in the top 10 in allowing opposing teams to throw and run the football.

Their hard work and dedication throughout the season merit them to to be seen and recognized on the national spotlight due to the fact that they have helped the team to tie the historic seven-game win streak back in 2011.
