4. Patience from everyone

It could have been very easy for the Houston Texans to blow up the team after the first three weeks of the season. If they had, not many would have blinked an eye. Many would have given changes a standing ovation and moved on with a season that started off with some massive struggles.

Instead, the Texans front office, players and coaches didn’t panic, but instead have somehow managed to get the team back in the right direction. The Texans are now in first place and control their own path to the AFC playoffs and the AFC South championship.

It is going to be tough for the Texans to win out for the remainder of the season with six games left in the regular season, but with how they’ve been playing and having luck on their side as of late, who knows? All I know is the Texans should be thankful for their patience and how they’ve gone from having the worst record in the AFC South to the best record in the AFC South in a matter of seven games.

The remaining schedule isn’t the toughest in the NFL, and it isn’t the easiest, either. If the Texans can keep their momentum and gain better play from their offensive line (patience is wearing thin there, though), the Texans will have a real shot at making the playoffs this season.
