The Houston Texans are back on the road for Week 9 as they take on the Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium.

The Houston Texans at Denver Broncos game took a unique turn on Tuesday, just before the end of the NFL trade deadline, when the Texans traded for Demaryius Thomas of the Broncos. That means the Texans enter Week 9 with one of the Broncos’ all-time greatest players now on their roster.

It is interesting the Broncos (3-5) traded Thomas to their Week 9 opponent, and in doing so maybe they’ve given the Texans an advantage as Houston goes for their sixth consecutive win of the season. Trading a fourth round pick (they also exchanged seventh round picks) for Thomas is a good deal for the Texans. Houston doesn’t have to keep Thomas after this season with an potential out for the 2019 season where he’s due $14 million according to Spotrac.com.
