3. Larry Fitzgerald

This one is a fun scenario that is exciting to think about because what is better than already having one future Hall of Fame wide receiver than having two in that category by adding Larry Fitzgerald to the mix with DeAndre Hopkins?

The current Arizona Cardinals wide receiver, Fitzgerald is a free agent at the end of the 2018 season, and being in Arizona isn’t going to get Fitzgerald back to the playoffs. With the Texans in first place in the AFC South, there is an opportunity for the veteran wide receiver to make his mark once again and help a team like the Texans, who are in need of more at wide receiver to take the next step in their season that has hit its stride with five straight wins.

Fitzgerald could play on the outside and could play in the slot too, but either way he’d be such an asset for second-year quarterback Deshaun Watson for the rest of this season, making him a better player as soon as he’d join the Texans.

This isn’t a long-term fix for the Texans, but they don’t need that as Fuller will be back next season. For the rest of the year, a late-round draft choice for a veteran and true professional like Fitzgerald would make this team stay on pace in the division and battle with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans and even the Indianapolis Colts for the rest of the season.
