4. DeVante Parker

The Houston Texans know exactly what DeVante Parker could offer their team and wide receiver roster if they were to part with a draft pick or picks to improve their team in the second half of the season. The Texans faced Parker last Thursday night, and he played well against the Texans.

In the game against the Texans, Parker totaled six receptions for 134 yards, averaging 22.6 yards per reception. The Texans won the game, which was their fifth straight win, but also lost No. 2 wide receiver Will Fuller to a torn ACL for the remainder of the season.

Imagine how exciting the Texans offense would be with Parker and DeAndre Hopkins. Add Keke Coutee to that mix, and what a wide variety of options Deshaun Watson has to pass to. An addition like Parker would be for a reason – to help Hopkins on the other side of the field – and if teams would have to game plan for a player like Parker, there is no doubt that would free up Hopkins more, and that is the most important part of the Texans offense from here on out.

Though it is a bit of a long shot, as it seems the Dolphins want to keep Parker, remember this is professional football. If Hall of Fame players can be released and traded, then young players with potential like Parker can be traded too, so the Texans should take a chance at obtaining the Dolphins wide receiver.
