1. DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins is one of the most poised players for the Houston Texans, and even more than that he’s a Top 5 wide receiver in the NFL, so each and every week he’s a player that needs to be watched closely.

Describing Hopkins as a must-watch player is for the fact he’s averaging over 100 yards per game receiving through the first seven games of the season. Hopkins has totaled 47 receptions for 707 yards and four touchdowns this season, and though he’s been limited in practice this week with a foot issue, he always comes ready to play each week.

This month of October, Hopkins had totaled 17 receptions for 264 yards and two touchdowns. In wins the season (four games), the elite wide receiver Hopkins is averaging 16 yards per reception with 27 receptions for 433 yards and three touchdowns.

When the Texans lose games (three total), Hopkins has 20 receptions for 274 yards and one touchdown. So here is what was finally realized by the Texans, at least it seems that way: when Hopkins gains an extra reception or two a game, they win games more often than when they lose.

Hopkins has a good chance to have another day with Xavien Howard and Bobby McCain as the top cornerbacks on the Miami roster. It will be exciting to see Hopkins in primetime for the second time this season, as he could have yet another memorable performance.
