Houston Texans have several starters on this week’s injury report.

The Houston Texans will have several players ruled out with a short week of practice prior to their primetime game vs. the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.

Rookie wide receiver Keke Coutee was ruled out earlier this week with a minor hamstring injury as that is a big loss for the offense. Ever since Coutee has joined the offense this season the Texans have went undefeated.

Right guard Zach Fulton also seems doubtful for Week 8 with a nagging ankle injury, reserve offensive lineman Greg Mancz seems poised to start again at right guard after a great performance vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7.

Cornerback Aaron Colvin and inside linebacker Brian Peters will also miss their fourth consecutive game with their own ankle injuries. Recently signed inside linebacker Josh Keyes could see his regular season game with the Texans after being with them through all training camp and preseason games.

It’ll be interesting to monitor the situation with defensive back Andre Hal who has a shoulder injury (after making his season debut this past Sunday) and tight end Ryan Griffin who is sidelined with an undisclosed illness, both players have not practiced with the team in the first two days of practices.

The Texans might be shorthanded in their secondary with cornerback Shareece Wright limited in practice with shoulder, hand and groin injuries. Outside linebacker Brennan Scarlett and rookie tight end Jordan Thomas were both listed with groin injuries but they were listed as full participants on Tuesday’s practice. Wide receiver Will Fuller and cornerback Jonathan Joseph are both listed with hip injuries but they were full participants this week in practice.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson and running back Lamar Miller are listed on the injury report with chest injuries, but they have been full participants in this week’s practice as well.

Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has been limited with a foot injury the past few weeks in practice, but it’ll take more than that to keep him from playing on game day. Hopkins is third in the league with 707 receiving yards through seven games. Defensive end J.J. Watt was listed with a knee injury but he has been a full participant in practice.
