Fantasy Football Week 7: Keke Coutee a very viable option; plus more starters
Wide Receiver: Keke Coutee
Here is a sleeper of the week for those who enjoy fantasy football. Keke Coutee of the Houston Texans could have the best game of any Texans wide receiver this weekend with DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller drawing the top coverage from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
When that coverage occurs, that leaves Coutee with a great chance to make plays from the slot, and if quarterback Deshaun Watson gets enough time in the backfield from the pass protection of his struggling offensive line, Coutee could make some big-time plays this Sunday.
Coutee has 20 receptions for 193 yards and a touchdown in just three games played this season, with his game against the Colts being his best to date with 11 receptions (15 targets) for 109 yards receiving. In a game against the Dallas Cowboys, Coutee was targeted seven times with six receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown. Last Sunday in a 20-13 Texans win over the Buffalo Bills, Coutee had three receptions (five targets) for 33 yards receiving.
This weekend though with Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye most likely having their full attention and focus on Hopkins and Fuller, Coutee could really have himself a day and become the top option for Watson in this game, giving fantasy football lineups a boost that could sneak up on a lot of folks.
