The Friday injury report was released followed practice for the Houston Texans with Will Fuller listed as limited, as he’ll be much needed on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Will Fuller of the Houston Texans was listed as a limited participant in Friday’s practice before their road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a hip injury. Fuller, along with fellow wide receivers Keke Coutee and DeAndre Hopkins were also listed as limited in Friday’s practice with Coutee having a hamstring issue and Hopkins having issues with his foot.

Hopkins and Coutee are very important to the Texans’ offense, but to defeat the Jaguars this Sunday the Texans will need Fuller to be at his best. Even though the Jaguars’ defense has been exposed some their past couple games — including a 40-7 loss to the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday —  they are still a good unit, and Fuller is due to get back to how he was playing earlier in the season and not so much the numbers he’s had as of late.

Fuller in the past two games has been targeted just six times and in those six targets he’s totaled four receptions for games of 15 yards and 33 yards. In those games Fuller played in 77 snaps against the Dallas Cowboys and 52 snaps last Sunday vs. the Buffalo Bills.

Fuller in 2017 against the Jaguars — who was a Top 5 defense a year ago — played one game against them in Week 8 where he totaled five receptions for 44 yards and had a punt return of 16 yards. In that game a season ago Fuller was targeted five times.

This season in five games Fuller has collected 21 receptions for 311 yards and three touchdowns, having a touchdown in each of the first three games played this season.

Others for the Texans listed as out for Sunday’s game on the Friday injury report are cornerback Aaron Colvin (ankle), tight end Ryan Griffin (illness), inside linebacker Brian Peters (ankle) and cornerback Shareece Wright (three different injuries).

Again, Fuller has a chance to have a great game against the Jaguars because he’s not going to have Jalen Ramsey defending him, as Ramsey will be busy working against Hopkins. Fuller a chance to battle former Texans defensive back A.J. Bouye which should be exciting to watch.
