3. DeAndre Hopkins will have 100 yards receiving

In my opinion DeAndre Hopkins is one of the Top 5 wide receivers in all of the NFL, even if some lists that were released recently had him at sixth overall. If there is another wide receiver that is more reliable in a clutch situation in the NFL let us know who that is.

Hopkins hasn’t had the best quarterbacks on his side throughout most of his career, but now with Deshaun Watson he’s still putting up numbers, but the results are starting to come with those numbers in the wins and loss column the past few weeks.

This weekend against the Jaguars, Hopkins will most likely be paired with Jaguars superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey who had very little to say following last week’s 40-7 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Hopkins this season has 44 receptions for 657 yards and three touchdowns. In the three wins by the Texans this season Hopkins has 24 receptions for 383 yards with two of his three touchdown receptions in games won by the Texans.

Though listed as questionable, not practicing on Thursday with a foot injury. If he’s on the field this Sunday, Hopkins will produce no matter who is defending him, even if that is Ramsey who is one of the top cornerbacks in the league.

In two of the past three games Hopkins had had no less than 100 yards receiving with 169 yards on 10 receptions against the Indianapolis Colts and 151 yards receiving on nine reception against the Dallas Cowboys.

Granted, this is the best coverage matchup that Hopkins will have all season, and even with a foot issue this week, Hopkins is always a clutch player and he’ll most likely be playing at a higher level with Ramsey against him. So seeing this matchup happen for the first of two occasions this season will be something special to watch, and it is safe to say Hopkins will want to continue to prove he can produce big numbers against a star like Ramsey as well.
