After three straight wins the Houston Texans face a Jacksonville Jaguars team which has lost three of their past four games.

Even with their recent struggles in the past month the Jacksonville Jaguars are still the favorites to win in Week 7 when they host the Houston Texans, a team that has managed to win their past three games.

The Texans have defeated the Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills in their winning streak, winning twice in overtime and using their defense to overcome a fourth quarter deficit to seal a win this past Sunday vs. the Bills.

The Jaguars are coming off two straight losses, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5 by a 30-14 score and this past Sunday they were dominated by the Cowboys, 40-7. Those losses dropped the Jaguars to 3-3 overall and put them in a three-way tie for first place in the AFC South with the Texans and Tennessee Titans.

As for early Tuesday, OddsShark.com has the Texans as +4.5 underdogs for their game in Jacksonville, with the Las Vegas experts believing more in the Jaguars than the Texans. Also remember no game for the Texans has been decided by more than seven points this season.

The Texans lead this series history with a 19-13 overall record over the Jaguars, though the Jaguars won both meetings last season by scored of 29-7 and 45-7. Before that the Texans had a six-game winning streak over Jacksonville.

Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles has nine touchdown passes and eight interceptions this season, and is coming off a game against the Cowboys where he was 15-of-26 for 149 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

On the other side, Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson this past Sunday against the Bills finished 15-of-25 for 177 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. For the season Watson has nine touchdowns and seven interceptions.

With how the Jaguars have played lately, the +4.5 points over the Texans seems high, but that is possibly because the Las Vegas experts still believe in the Jacksonville defense against the offensive line of the Texans, and who can blame them?

For the Texans to get to the point differential given to them by Las Vegas, or to even win this Week 7 game, they must have better play from their offensive line as that would lead to a better showing from the rushing game and the rest of the offense that needs a spark too.

Though it is Week 7 this AFC South game between the two teams is very important for tiebreaker issues if they were to arise at the end of the season as division wins are very important for both the Texans and Jaguars moving forward.
