Quarterback: Matt Ryan

The Atlanta Falcons are facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buccaneers aren’t what you call good at stopping the pass this season, meaning Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons really has a shot to put up a lot of fantasy football points in Week 6.

The Buccaneers are next to last in allowing 445.8 total yards per game, and within that Tampa Bay is last in the league in allowing 358 yards passing per game in the four games they’ve played this season.

As for Ryan, he’s passed for 1,601 yards with 11 touchdowns and two interceptions this season. Two weeks ago Ryan passed for 409 yards (29-of-39) with three touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals and last Sunday Ryan passed for 285 yards and one touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but was sacked six times.

The last time Ryan faced an NFC South opponent in the New Orleans Saints in Week 3, Ryan passed for five touchdowns with 26 completions on 35 attempts.

It would be tough to see the Falcons’ quarterback being sacked six times for a second straight week. There shouldn’t be any fears of starting Ryan this week against the Buccaneers especially with the likes of Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley and others looking to have better games that than had a week ago.

A quick prediction for this game, Ryan finally finds Jones for a couple touchdowns in this game.
