The Houston Texans have released the seven players for the Week 5 inactive list with Lamar Miller being active for their game with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

The Houston Texans and the Dallas Cowboys are ready to face each other in their Week 5 game at NRG Stadium on Sunday Night Football for just the fifth time in the regular season, as the Cowboys lead the series, 3-1 all-time.

One player who wasn’t sure would be playing is suiting up for Week 5 in running back Lamar Miller, who was injured during the second half last Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Miller had been battling a chest injury all week and was listed as questionable on Friday.

The inactives for the Texans this Sunday night are: wide receiver Vyncint Smith, cornerback Aaron Colvin, inside linebacker Brian Peters, outside linebacker Daeshon Hall, offensive tackle David Sharpe, defensive end Carlos Watkins and defensive end Christian Covington.

Inactives for the Cowboys are defensive tackle Maliek Collins, defensive tackle David Irving, linebacker Sean Lee, tight end Dalton Schultz, quarterback Mike White and former Texans player, offensive guard Xavier Su’a-Filo.

This game for the Cowboys and not having Lee will cause some issues, because the Cowboys’ defense isn’t as powerful or the same as when he is on the field. The Texans are lucky because most of the players listed as questionable on Friday are in the lineup for tonight, giving them a better chance to gain their second win in consecutive weeks.
