2. Lamar Miller, Running Back

This is the third year in a Houston Texans uniform for Lamar Miller, and after 44 carries this season Miller has 176 yards, averaging 4.0 yards per carry. Miller has out-gained his top rush of last season with a 31-yard rush already in 2018.

Miller still hasn’t had a 100-plus yard rushing game since the 2016 season, a season where he averaged 4.0 ypr. Now for this Week 4 game, the Colts are in the middle of the pack in the NFL rankings where they are allowing 106 rushing yards per game and a 4.1 yards per rush average.

In pass catching this year, Miller has eight receptions for 54 yards and one touchdown, averaging 6.8 yards per reception as he’s been targeted 10 times in 2018.

The Texans need to get this rushing game going faster because it would help the passing game throughout this game. Not many teams have success without a decent rushing game, and that is all the Texans need on average from Miller this Sunday. The Texans have two solid wide receivers on their roster, but the rushing game of Miller, Alfred Blue and even quarterback Deshaun Watson need to set the tone for this game against the Colts.
