Game day has arrived for the Houston Texans as they are in Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans in a Week 2 AFC South showdown with both teams looking for their first win of the season.

The Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans split their season matchups in 2017 with the two franchises each winning their respective home games. The feat will be a little tougher for the Titans on Sunday as they enter this contest battling injuries.

The Titans are already without two starting offensive tackles Jack Conklin and Taylor Lewan, plus the overall heath of starting quarterback Marcus Mariota is still an unknown. Playing without some of their core players is sure to affect the Titans in a negative way in Week 2.

For the Texans they are still looking for their first win of the season — as are the Titans — following a season-opening loss to the New England Patriots. That was a game where the Texans played stale in the first half, and eventually got to within seven points of the Patriots before suffering the loss.

Houston enters this game with some injuries of their own, but none that should be a cause for concern at the start of their Week 2 game. If Houston plays up to their potential on Sunday against the Titans they should be able to gain their first win of the season.

The game will air on CBS with the announce team of Andrew Catalon, James Lofton per 506 Sports. The replay of this game can be viewed on NFL Game Pass with a subscription. On the radio the Texans can be heard at SportsRadio 610 (KILT-AM) and 100.3 KILT-FM The Bull (KILT-FM FM).

The Texans and Titans might not jump off the screen on a national level, but with players like Deshaun Watson, J.J. Watt, DeAndre Hopkins and Jadeveon Clowney in the lineup for today, if they play up to their capabilities, the Texans will get back into that national discussion.
