3. Will Fuller

Though listed as questionable as of Saturday afternoon, a player that is a must watch for the Houston Texans is wide receiver Will Fuller because of the potential to score points for Houston when he’s on the field. He can especially do so with not having the top coverage going his direction when DeAndre Hopkins is on the other side of the offense.

With Fuller, he’s still not reached his full potential with the Texans, but we’ve seen flashes of it since being drafted in the first round in 2016 out of Notre Dame. Fuller played in 10 games last season and was targeted by Houston quarterbacks 50 times. Within those targets, Fuller caught 28 passes for 423 yards and seven touchdowns.

In a closer look at the target numbers of Fuller he was targeted five or more times in a game on seven occasions in ’17, including eight targets in consecutive weeks against the Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks. Last season on Oct. 1 Fuller faced the Titans where he was targeted six times. In that 57-14 Texans win, Fuller had four receptions for 35 yards and two touchdowns.

Keep some extra focus on Fuller this Sunday because he has the chance to put the ball in the end zone if he’s able to make his season debut.
