Three teams in the AFC South began the 2018 NFL season with a loss. The question remains: where do players on all four teams sit in the division power rankings at quarterback after Week 1?

It wasn’t a very good start to the 2018 NFL season for the AFC South, unless you are a fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars were the only team in the conference to win in Week 1, defeating the New York Giants by a 20-15 score at MetLife Stadium.

The Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans both lost by scores of 27-20, with Houston losing to the New England Patriots and the Titans losing to the Miami Dolphins. The Colts lost to the Cincinnati Bengals, 34-23.

That said, games are won and lost in a lot of ways, but most of the pressure goes straight to the quarterbacks, and for the AFC South, there is some tough competition from the signal callers in the division.

The season openers featured two quarterbacks making their returns to the field in Andrew Luck, who missed all of the 2017 season, and Deshaun Watson, who missed over half of the season a year ago. One player in Luck looked like his old self by passing for over 300 yards, but Watson left the Texans wanting for more.

Blake Bortles was back for the Jacksonville Jaguars and had a normal performance, while the Tennessee Titans saw their franchise quarterback Marcus Mariota injure his elbow in the longest game played since the NFL merger.

Things were exciting or not so exciting depending on which team you cheer for, but here are the AFC South Power Rankings for quarterbacks following Week 1 action.
