Game day is here for the Houston Texans and the New England Patriots. Give us your thoughts and opinions throughout the Week 1 contest.

It is now time for the Houston Texans to embark on the 2018 NFL season and standing in their way for Week 1 is the reigning and defending AFC champion New England Patriots. This will be no walk in the park for the visiting Houston squad at Gillette Stadium in Foxbrough, Mass.

For Houston it comes down how second-year Deshaun Watson returns to regular season play after missing most of the 2017 season with a torn ACL following a very strong start to what was his rookie season.

Also back for the Texans is J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus who will no doubt make the defensive line strong against a tough Patriots team. Even with the Patriots not having some of their players from previous seasons they always seem to find a way to make players stars in the league.

Speaking of stars in the league, it will be very interesting to see how not only Watson returns from injury in the Week 1 season opener, but how Tom Brady returns to his game after losing the Super Bowl this past February. Even though Brady is a five-time Super Bowl champion, the Texans will be the first team he faces since that loss and he could take out his frustrations on them.

Inactives for the Texas are: Will Fuller (WR), Keke Coutee (WR), Kayvon Webster (CB), Duke Ejiofor (OLB), Kendall Lamm (OT), Carlos Watkins (DE) and Joel Heath (DE).
