The Houston Texans have several positions that are up for grabs as the NFL preseason continues this Saturday.

The offense of the Houston Texans seems to be bound for a breakout season with Deshaun Watson under center. Possessing a franchise quarterback, now it is about continuing to build an offense around him, and finding players that complement his skill set.

Houston has played two preseason games thus far and still have two remaining, with the next preseason game this Saturday at 4 p.m. ET against the Los Angeles Rams, as the third preseason game is the most important of all the preseason games. This third preseason game should feature the starters more, but also it will also be a good way to see some of the backups continue their battle to stay on the roster.

Some of the players to watch as the preseason continues are Julien Davenport, Brandon Weeden, Joe Webb and the wide receivers battling to stay on the depth chart and make a name for themselves on the 53-man roster once Week 1 arrives.

Texans head coach Bill O’Brien will have everyone else on offense practicing and ready to suit up for the preseason games. The Texans have several positional battles that will be intriguing to follow throughout the remainder of training camp and the preseason, so without further ado here are three important competitions on offense to keep an eye on.
