Will Brian Cushing play Sunday against the Titans?
Houston Texans’ linebacker Brian Cushing is in great and ready to help his team. But no one knows whether or not he’ll play this coming Sunday.
With veteran linebacker Brian Cushing now back with the Houston Texans after serving his 10-game suspension for using performance enhancing drugs, head coach Bill O’Brien wouldn’t say whether or not he’ll play this week against the Tennessee Titans.
Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reported on Tuesday night that Cushing is in fact in very good shape and is ready to go, but of course no one knows whether he’ll play on Sunday.
While it’s only Wednesday and things can change between now and Sunday, the Texans have one week to active Cushing. I thought with them releasing linebacker Lamarr Houston on Tuesday that it would mean that Cushing will be activated. We’ll have to wait and see if that happens.

I would be surprised if Cushing doesn’t play this week. He likely won’t start, but I could see him getting 10-15 plays and that might be all he gets each and every week with rookies Dylan Cole and Zach Cunningham playing well.
Will Andre Ellington play in week 13?
When looking at the Texans week 13 depth chart, Ellington is listed as their third back behind Lamar Miller and Alfred Blue.
Blue looked pretty good on Monday night, so I think he’ll continue to spell Miller. But don’t be surprised if Ellington helps out on third downs.
Comment below and tell us whether you think Cushing and Ellington will play this week for the Texans.
