Houston Texans’ quarterback Tom Savage looked bad on Monday night after leaving his press conference after saying two words. But people don’t realize what happened.

To say that Houston Texans quarterback Tom Savage had a rough night on Monday, would be an understatement.

Savage ended up turning the football over a total of three times, and the final turnover was an interception that helped the Baltimore Ravens seal the game and come away with a win.

After the game, Savage walked up to the podium for his press conference. What was very weird is that he said two words, “We’re good?” and then walked away. Of course social media was quick to point it out. Check it out below:

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle cleared things up on Twitter. He says the media wasn’t in the press room and that they were instead in the locker room, which is why he left.

Savage did talk with reporters in the locker room.

While talking to the media, Savage admitted how frustrated he was after letting Monday’s game slip away due to turnovers.

Even if Savage only turned the ball over one time, the Texans would have been in a position to win the game. But two of his three turnovers led to a total of 10 points. Houston only lost by seven points.

If the Texans are going to make the playoffs, they’ll need to win their next five games and finish with a 9-7 record. With how poorly Savage has been playing, I don’t see that happening.

It might make sense for the Texans to bench Savage, but is T.J. Yates really a better option? Probably not.
