There are some talented players to keep an eye on during this Sunday’s Houston Texans – Cleveland Browns game.

After falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in week five, the Houston Texans have a much easier match-up against the Cleveland Browns.

Here are five players to keep an eye on this week:

Kevin Hogan

I’m sure the Texans’ defense was expecting to face Browns’ rookie quarterback Deshone Kizer this week and not Kevin Hogan.

Hogan is a solid player that can move around outside of the pocket. It will be interesting to see how he fairs against an injury depleted Texans’ defense.

Ryan Griffin

Texans’ tight end Ryan Griffin has been pretty quiet this season. The good news is that he has a great match-up against the Browns this week.

Cleveland’s defense has been giving a lot of plays to opposing tight ends. Griffin could have a busy day on Sunday.

Myles Garrett

Given the fact that Browns’ defensive end Myles Garrett was the top pick in this year’s NFL draft and the Texans’ offensive line has given up the most pressure so far this season, Houston could have their hands full.

The Texans would be smart to double team Garrett with either a running back or a tight end.

Carlos Watkins

With star defensive lineman J.J. Watt out for the rest of the season, rookie Carlos Watkins may get a chance to start in his place.

Now we can’t expect Watkins to replace Watt. He’s not the same player.  All the Texans need is for him to do his job.

Ufomba Kamalu

Ufomba Kamlu is a second-year player out of the University of Miami that will get a chance to fill the shoes of Whitney Mercilus, who like Watt, is now done for the season.

If Kamalu struggles, the Texans have veteran Lamarr Houston avilable to help out.
