The Houston Texans are surprisingly home underdogs this week against the Tennessee Titans.

The Houston Texans may have a 1-2 record heading into their week four divisional match-up against the 2-1 Tennessee Titans, but they have the talent to take down quarterback Marcus Mariota and company.

As Texans Wire points out, the Texans are actually underdogs even though they’re at home against the Titans.

FootballLocks.com has the Texans as 1.5 point underdogs. As of right now, I wouldn’t expect that to change before Sunday.

When looking at the Titans, their only loss came at home against the Oakland Raiders in week one and they’ve defeated both the Jacksonville Jaguars and most recently the Seattle Seahawks.

The Texans on the other hand were embarrassed by the Jaguars in week one, barely beat a bad Cincinnati Bengals team in week two, but came very close to upsetting the New England Patriots last Sunday.

I understand why the Texans are underdogs and I have a hard time disagreeing with them.

Houston may have two losses, but they seem to be getting better with each passing week now that rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson is in control of the offense.

I’m going to refrain from making a prediction, but I do believe that this is a game that could go either way. Which is the reason that Vegas has the Titans as 1.5 favorites. They’re a team that has two impressive wins, while the Texans have only defeated an 0-3 Bengals team.
