Will DeAndre Hopkins, Duane Brown report to training camp on time?
It looks like Houston Texans’ star DeAndre Hopkins will show up for training camp, while Duane Brown may continue his hold out.
Players from the Houston Texans are expected to report for training camp on Monday in West Virginia.
Last year, star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins didn’t report on time since he was looking for a new contract.
Even though Hopkins still doesn’t have a new deal, he’s expected to report to camp on time, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The story might be different for Texans’ left tackle Duane Brown.
Brown skipped out on the Houston’s voluntary OTA’s as well as their mandatory minicamp this offseason since he’s looking for more money.
The difference between Hopkins and Brown is that Hopkins is much younger and is in the final year of his current contract.
Brown on the other hand is 31 years-old and has two years left on his contract.
ESPN‘s Sarah Barshop reported on Sunday that no one knows whether or not Brown will continue his hold out.
Brown isn’t necessarily looking for a contract extension, he would just like more guaranteed money after watching numerous left tackles cash in as free agents this offseason.

I understand why Brown wants more money, but holding out isn’t a solution since he’ll only get fined for every day of training camp that he misses.
Lets’ be honest, Brown will not hold out during the regular season and miss those game checks that he needs to leave off of.
