A.J. Bouye signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars has to really hurt the Houston Texans.

We finally know which team A.J. Bouye is signing with.

Ian Rapoport and James Palmer of the NFL Network are reporting that the Jacksonville Jaguars are very close to signing Bouye, the Houston Texans star cornerback who emerged last season.

The Texans are also losing starting free safety Quintin Demps to the Chicago Bears.

The number one defense in the NFL from last season will have to fill two gaping holes on the back end.

The only bright side is that this year’s draft is loaded with cornerbacks.  But I’m not sure where the Texans going to find Demps’ replacement right now.

As soon as we get the details on Bouye’s deal with the Jaguars we will update this post. It’s expected to exceed the $12 million a year deal that the Texans were willing to pay him. As much as they wanted him back, the Jaguars were willing to outbid them.

Jacksonville will now have two of the NFL’s top corners in Bouye and Jalen Ramsey.

Now that we know that Bouye is signing with the Jaguars we would love to get your thoughts in the comments section below.

Update: Here are the details of Bouye’s contract with the Jaguars.
