What is Romeo Crennel’s new role? [HoustonTexans.com – Deepi Sidhu]
It’s huge that Romeo Crennel is sticking around to help Mike Vrabel adapt to his new role as defensive coordinator.
Crennel turns 70 years-old in June and I’m sure he will soon retire. But it’s very selfless of him to help Vrabel and the Texans in this way.
Wes Welker has variety of roles as assistant coach [HoustonTexans.com – Drew Dougherty]
Talk about throwing Wes Welker into the fire. He’ll be working with the wide receivers, punt returnings and defensive backs.
A part of me thinks this is too much for Welker and that he would better off just helping the receivers, but then again I’m not Bill O’brien.

JabrillPeppers ended up working out with the linebacker and defensive backs. But by looking at his height and weight, he should be a safety in the NFL.
I would stay away from peppers if I was the Texans. He’s too much of a gamble.
