With Alfred Blue out again, that means more carries for Akeem Hunt once again. Jaelen Strong misses his second straight game, and I think his spot on the roster for next season is slipping through his fingers. After he was all the rage in training camp, he has not produced much on the field this season. Not having John Simon will be a significant loss–he has made a difference both in the pass rush and run defense this season.
Even though Lamar Miller and Jadeveon Clowney were limited, they’ll play. I wouldn’t worry too much about that. Vince Wilfork may not be a difference maker anymore, but he still is a big body and without him the defensive line becomes pretty thin.
Good to see A.J. Bouye is healthy, they will need him against another prolific arial attack in the Chargers. Philip Rivers is having a great year and the secondary will be tested. Also great to see Will Fuller fully healthy, getting the deep threat back into the offense will be a huge lift.
