The Texans hold the key –
On offense, for the Texans to win Brock Osweiler must do a better job of analyzing defenses and throwing from a congested pocket. In turn, DeAndre Hopkins must do a better job of creating separation. Obviously Will Fuller must eliminate the one big drop he seems to have every game. Also, Lamar Miller must find the holes, as few as there are, and hit them. The Colts suspect defense will make it easier for these guys to achieve those goals.
On defense Jadeveon Clowney must replicate the consistent aggression he showed against the Vikings. The defensive secondary has to successfully execute the “next man up” philosophy. Antonio Smith needs more snaps. And Whitney Mercilus and Benardrick McKinney must continue their high level of play.
What must the Colts do to win? If all the identified Texans players step-up, the offensive line does its part and the Texans don’t turn the ball over the Colts can’t win. Consequently it’s all on the Texans…including Bill O’Brien.
Prediction- The Texans get it done at home.
Give the points and take the over. Texans win 31-24.
