2. The Texans have a pick your poison at receiver

DeAndre Hopkins did not have a big game with just five catches for 57 yards and a touchdown. Rookie Will Fuller stole the show on Sunday with five receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. But where was Braxton Miller, who had shined all preseason? He only managed one catch for six yards on three targets. Even Stephen Anderson got more action than Miller did as he caught three passes for 25 yards (finally, a tight end that can be used in the passing game– hallelujah!). Not to be forgotten, Lamar Miller caught four passes and is another versatile weapon.

There are now so many weapons on this Texans offense that opposing defenses will be hard pressed to keep up with them all. If you focus on Hopkins then Fuller can beat you deep. If you play back to cover for the deep ball then the Millers (Lamar and Braxton) and come at you with the short routes and screens while Hopkins will run the intermediate routes.

Oh, did we mention Jaelen Strong? There’s no doubt that somewhere along the line he is going to have a big game.
