There is going to be a battle going on between Lenz, Keith Mumphery, Cecil Shorts and Wendall Williams, among others, for the other receiver spots. Mumphery got the most snaps against the 49ers with 30, while Lenz got 19 and Williams 12. Shorts did not play, but with his return abilities he seems to have an inside track at making the roster.

But if the Texans only keep five receivers, the other three seem to be out of luck. But if there is one more receiver spot open, then it could be a battle to watch. I have liked Lenz ever since I saw him in some preseason action with the Browns, he makes plays. He eventually made his way to the Colts before coming to Houston, and I would like to see him given a chance. But the speed of Williams is alluring, and perhaps that will give him an edge.

Should be an interesting battle to watch the rest of camp.
