As the Texans approach the second preseason game against the New Orleans Saints, here are five players to keep an eye on:

Kenny Hilliard

The former LSU Tiger was the leading rusher for the Texans last week against the 49ers with 40 yards on 12 carries. He saw more action with Alfred Blue sidelined with a shoulder injury, and Jonathan Grimes only got one carry during the game. While his average per carry was not very impressive, he did show that he could run between the tackles.

Even though he only played 15 snaps, he carried the ball 80% of the time he was in. Akeem Hunt got the most snaps at running back with 23, playing a third of the Texans offensive snaps. At this point, Hilliard would get my vote for the number two back if I had one, and that means at least one of the other runners–Blue, Grimes or Hunt; will not make the roster.
