Houston Texans Morning Huddle–Fuller Adjusting
By Josh McSwain
Here are your daily Texans stories to kick off your work week:
Fuller adjusting to strength required in the NFL by Aaron Wilson, Houston Chronicle
"Wrestling through jams at the line of scrimmage to break into his patterns, Texans rookie wide receiver Will Fuller is adjusting to the nuances of escaping press coverage one week into his first NFL training camp.Although Fuller is arguably the fastest player on the roster with a 4.28 time in the 40-yard dash, the first-round draft pick has to grapple with older, stronger cornerbacks to create separation into the secondary."
This was going to take some time for him to adjust to. There is simply no simulation that can prepare a new receiver for what NFL DBs will do to him, and it may be frustrating at first but it’ll just take time for him to learn.

Osweiler’s Leadership Impressive by Sarah Barshop, ESPN
"“Brock is a natural leader,” guard Jeff Allen said. “That’s something I saw the first day we stepped foot in here. This guy is a leader. He’s not only going to lead the offense, he’s willing to lead our entire team, so that’s good.”"
When you have a QB emerge as one of your teams’s leaders, that helps everyone. All the guys in the huddle are looking to him, and Osweiler seems to have taken to his new role nicely.
Cheerleaders Unveil New Calendar by ABC 13
"The cheerleaders also say they are really looking forward to kicking off the season with the Texans this fall. The calendar is available for $10 online, but you can also get a signed copy for $25. Proceeds go to support the Houston Texans Foundation, benefiting The Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA."
It’s great that the proceeds from the sales go to a good cause. So if you need an excuse to buy one, there you have it guys.
